How to Commission a Painting

Pricing is based upon a single subject or scene.

Acrylic or watercolor on paper:

8”x10”– $200,  9”x12”—$225,  11”x 14”—$275,  

16”x20”—$425,  18”x24”—$500

Oil Painting on stretched canvas:

11”x14”—$500,  16”x20”—$750,  18”x24”—$880

If you would like more than one subject per portrait, there is an additional fee of $60 per subject. No additional subjects can be added to a 12 x 9 or 8 x 10 portrait.

Send clear, 1MG (or larger) sized photos of the subject or scene. Photos must be uploaded from the contact page along with any other instructions, comments, or question you may have. 

For more than one subject: An invoice will be sent with the amount quoted. Full payment is required before the work begins.

Once the painting is completed a preview will be sent. Please note that if changes are requested, an additional charge will be invoiced and must be paid before shipping.
Time frame is given upon payment. General turn-around is approximately 3-6 weeks unless received through a large fundraising event. Then orders may take longer.

The painting will be shipped by insured, USPS priority mail and tracking number given.

Gift certificates are available for any amount you choose or can be priced in accordance to a specific size and subject.
They can be mailed USPS with your message to the recipient or emailed as a digital file. Gift certificates are valid for one year from the date of purchase.

There are no refunds on custom commissioned art or gift certificates. Gift certificates are transferable.
