Patrice is committed to providing and promoting creativity, and artistic expression- to inspire and engage others through thought-provoking work, exhibitions, and creative programs.

Art plays a crucial role in society as it serves as an expression that goes beyond words and numbers. It has the power to express ideas, emotions, and stories in a way that resonates with people from different cultures and backgrounds. Through art, we can preserve history, capture significant moments, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make up our world.

Art is not only a means of expressing individual creativity, but it also promotes understanding and collaboration within communities. It brings people together, fostering a sense of unity and shared vision for the future. 

Patrice began her artistic career painting oil portraits of people, animals and lighthouses back in 1986. Her creative expression expanded when she learned to master watercolors, acrylics, and inks over the past forty years. 

Although she’s the perpetual student learning through a myriad of mediums to challenge herself, With an eye for detail and color Patrice has many patrons who purchase commissioned art for self or as gifts. 

She shares her knowledge and expertise in creative classes both privately and in group settings. Patrice offers art programs In Michigan and artistic retreats in Sedona, AZ and Hilo, Hawaii. 

Committed to Service

Patrice has facilitated dozens of two-week fundraising events over the past ten years for animal welfare organizations around the country, donating a percentage from each commissioned pet portrait paintings  and gift certificates for their charity auctions. 

Working with special needs students through the MAA, Michigan Arts Access organization has brought her a whole new perspective on visual arts. She has found it to be very rewarding. For these students, expressing themselves can be very difficult, but when allowed to express through an artistic medium they have a whole new way of communicating their inner world for all to see.
